Carol started playing
drums at age 9, taking lessons from local instructors in the New York City
area. Carol played with several projects throughout High School & College,
performing various musical styles. Progressive and classic rock are Carol's
primary influences, including such acts as Yes, ELP, Steely Dan, Heart,
& The Who!!
Upon moving to South
Florida in the mid 80's, Carol joined classic/original rock act
Child's Play.This
group featured Mike Hertel
as lead guitar. When
Child's Play disbanded Carol teamed up with
The Wilcoxes, an all girl original band that has enjoyed local success
as well as airplay on college radio, nationwide. The Wilcoxes have
played such major local venues as: The Hard Rock Cafe, The Cameo
Theater on South Beach, & Tobacco Road.
Carol has also appeared
on the Miami Tonight Show, performing two songs with the founder and former
lead guitarist of Molly Hatchet.
While remaining the
drummer for The Wilcoxes, Carol teamed back up with Mike
Hertel from the Child's Play days to found the Rock act Downpour!!

Following almost a year playing with various cover bands Carol has returned to play with Downpour in April 2001!!!!
Carol & the Gang after the addition of Tony Colella, on lead guitar, to the group decided on Filmore Street as the new Band Monicker!!!
